Puppy Socialisation - Fridays 4pm to 5pm
This class is designed for dogs under 6 months, as soon as they are fully vaccinated.
Service Description
Our puppy socialisation class is for dogs under 6 months old. Puppies can join once they’ve completed their vaccinations, usually at 11–13 weeks. Some may have attended Puppy Parties at the vet, while others may have had little contact with other dogs or people. The main goal of this class is to help puppies become calm and confident in social situations. Rather than allowing all the puppies to play together—which can sometimes be counter-productive—we focus on controlled introductions. Puppies meet new people and adult dogs, learn to settle quietly, greet other puppies calmly, and, most importantly, come away when called. All puppies in the class are enrolled in the Kennel Club Good Citizen Puppy Foundation Scheme, and we provide guidance to help you achieve the scheme’s goals during the 6-week course. Many owners attending are new to having a dog and may be dealing with common issues like chewing, biting, or housetraining. With so much advice available, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or confused. Our classes aim to give you clear, practical support so you can start your puppy’s training journey with confidence. How to Get Started Download our Application Form here. Fill it in and either scan it to create a copy, or take a photo (please make sure it can be clearly read) and email to us at: info@dogobediencegroup.co.uk. If a space is available in the course, date and time of your choice, we will let you know. We are always booked well in advance, so please be prompt having made your decision. If the date you want is full, we will let you know the next available date, plus if there are any cancellations (which does happen) just before the class starts, we take the next owner in rotation.
