​In this class we aim to socialise the puppies so that they become calm and confident in social encounters. This does not involve all the puppies playing together as in our experience this can be counter-productive. Puppies are introduced to new people and adult dogs and learn to lie quietly, meet other puppies under control and most importantly come away from them when called.

All puppies attending classes are enrolled in the Kennel Club Good Citizen Puppy Foundation Scheme and tuition is given to achieve the set criteria within the 6 week course.

Many of the people coming to classes are new to dog owning and may be experiencing problems with chewing, biting, housetraining etc. Although there is a wealth of information available, some of it can be confusing and at times contradictory to new owners, who understandably are concerned to do things right from the start. 

​

We are experienced in raising puppies and can advise on all aspects, other than health, which of course is best left to qualified veterinary staff.

• If a space is available in the course, date and time of your choice, we will let you know.

• We are always booked well in advance, so please be prompt having made your decision.

• If the date you want is full, we will let you know the next available date, plus if there are any cancellations (which does happen) just before the class starts, we take the next owner in rotation.
